Decorating a Christmas tree varies from individual to individual. This lady was a very important member of a church named Ascension Lutheran Church. This church is Danville in Virginia. In the year 1957 Spencer started creating decorations which went well with the ambience of the church and were apt for Christmas celebration in the church. She did a very unique and out of the box thing. That was a very innovative idea indeed. She started creating ornaments for decorating the trees using the material that was there for gift wrapping presents for loved ones. The gift wrapping sheets and other material were the left over waste. So she made decorations from stuff that was gone to be discarded. These decorations became very famous and Spencer and her decorations became renowned very soon. Chrismon trees are very symbolic. In the sense that they are a way of conveying a very important message. The chrimson trees convey the meaning of the life of Christ. They explain to us the meaning of so many things about him or how he led his life. Chrimson trees make us understand the very meaning and essence of Christmas.
